We at Developing Minds understand that the current National Health Service (NHS) waiting times are very long, resulting in children being unable to quickly receive mental health support at a time in their life that is crucial to educational development and social stability. This is not a reflection on the staff working in these services but an over-stretched system. For some young people and their families receiving input from a private provider is the only way to address a child's unmet needs. Developing Active Young Minds Ltd is a service that provides a full assessment for the detection and treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Within our service we also assess and provide advice for Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) using a wide range of recognised and approved techniques. We also provide assessment and treatment of childhood depression and anxiety, using timely and current assessment processes that are supported by documentation that is recognised by local authorities and the NHS. All diagnosis are referenced to the DSM5 criteria for the condition and treatments follow National Institute for Clinical Excellent Guidelines (NICE).
